The starkey hearing foundation
The Starkey Hearing Foundation partnership was announced in 2006 at our National Convention. There are 20,000 hearing aids delivered annually to deaf and “hard of hearing” individuals in the US with limited financial resources. This is done through the Hear Now program, which collects hearing aids for recycling purposes.
Gallaudet University is located in Washington, D.C. and has been a philanthropic partner of Delta Zeta since 1954. It is the World’s only university with undergraduate programs accessible to deaf and “hard of hearing” students. At Gallaudet University, Delta Zeta endowed the Delta Zeta Scholarship Fund and the Fine Arts Endowment Fund. There is also a collegiate Delta Zeta chapter, Omicron Sigma, at the university.
