Delta Zeta And Our Community
As Delta Zeta members, we expect our sisters to have 100% involvement. This means that each member is involved in another club, organization, or philanthropy. We have several sisters involved in New Student Orientation (NSO), the Deaf Studies Association, University Ambassadors, and many more! We love encouraging our sisters to get out there and participate in what they are passionate about.
CSUN New Student Orientation (NSO)
Our beautiful sisters supporting the continuous process of integrating new students into the academic, cultural and social context of CSUN.
TRULY CONNECTED CONFERENCE
On April 8, 2017 Truly Connected was launched on the west coast at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, California. The event provided Delta Zeta women who are dedicated to lifelong learning the opportunity to find inspiration, share true advice, make connections, and invest in themselves.
Our sisters Danielle Armstrong, Jescuh Hansapiromchok, and Hannah Labra were chosen to fly to Orlando, FL for the National Convention and represent the Pi Gamma Chapter. At the convention, they were able to go to workshops and round tables to grow their leadership skills and also be a part of the voting process for new National Bylaws.
MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE
Our sister Jescuh Hansapiromchok (Rujjares) won an award as an outstanding delegate for the Model United Nations Conference.
This summer our sister Anna Ching is working as an Academic Mentor for the Residential Bridge Educational Opportunity Program. This program works with low income and first generation college students who are special admits that were denied by CSUN, but have high potential. She will be working with students who thought college was never possible for them throughout the 6 week summer phase to the transition from high school to college.
Our sister Lynzee and AOII Iris at their internship at the child and family guidance center with their supervisor Jessica who is a Delta Zeta alum.
At the National Convention, our sisters donated the first of 5 million dollar checks to the Starkey Hearing Foundation as a part of our Five Million in Five Years Pledge! Here they took a picture with our National President and newly initiated sister who is the co-founder of the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
ASSOCIATED STUDENTS productions
Our sisters Kelsey Baez and Rose Merida volunteering at CSUN's annual summer movie fest for Associated Students Productions. This production provides free movies for the community over the summer.
